Mexico City is where we bring companies for a summit and couples who’d rather have a Friday-night dinner at one of the world’s best restaurants than a beach. The venue inventory is extraordinary: colonial palaces, modernist museums, rooftops with views of the volcanoes on a clear morning.

For corporate groups it’s unbeatable: direct flights from every major U.S. hub, hundreds of five-star rooms within a few blocks, and offsite programming (Frida Kahlo’s house, lucha libre, a Xochimilco boat lunch) that no one on the team has done before.

What to know

Altitude (7,350 feet) and traffic are the two realities. We build generous buffers into every transfer and keep the drinks pours honest on the first night. The Centro Histórico is spectacular but can be closed for events without notice; we always hold a backup route.
