A complete visual story for your celebration, and the production team to build it in a country where "we'll figure it out" is not a plan.
What it is
Design at Altamar starts with the place. A hacienda has arches; a Cabo cliff has wind; a convent courtyard in Oaxaca is already the colour of turmeric. We build the story from what’s there, then layer in what makes it yours: a grandmother’s rebozo pattern in the menus, a hand-thrown Oaxacan plate at every seat, a ceiling of 3,000 marigolds because you got engaged during Día de Muertos.
The materials of Mexico
Our design library leans hard on Mexican craft. Black clay from San Bartolo Coyotepec, hand-blown glass from Tonalá, woven palm from the Yucatán, textiles from Teotitlán del Valle and Chiapas. It’s more beautiful than anything we could ship in, it supports the communities we work in, and it makes a celebration feel of its place.
Production is the other half
A beautiful rendering is worthless if the floral arrives at 5pm for a 4pm ceremony. Our production lead in Mexico City, Camila Ortiz, has run more than 300 events across the country and knows which rental house in Mérida actually shows up on time. We bring generators, we bring backup generators, and we bring a tent crew even when the forecast says clear.
