What it is
Destination guests come for a weekend, not a wedding. The welcome party sets the tone, the beach day builds the friendships, and the farewell brunch is where everyone says “we have to do this again.” We design those events as chapters in one story: the palette shifts, the music changes, the food goes from street-casual to seated-formal, and it all feels intentional.
Typical shape of a weekend
- Thursday: arrivals, a low-key drinks reception at the hotel bar.
- Friday: rehearsal dinner for family and the wedding party; a bigger welcome party afterwards for everyone, with tacos, mezcal and a band.
- Saturday: the celebration.
- Sunday: a late farewell brunch, pool day and departures.
We’ll build yours around your guests. A family with many young children gets a different Friday than a group of thirty-year-olds who fly in for the DJ.
Where it shines
San Miguel and Oaxaca, where the towns themselves become the venue and a parade through the streets can replace a cocktail hour. Punta Mita and Cabo, where a boat day or a farm lunch is a genuine experience rather than an excursion.
